Uses:

It is used in biochemical research, as a phlegm solubilizer and an antidote for acetaminophen poisoning in medicine. The mechanism of action is that the sulfhydryl group contained in the product’s molecular structure can break the disulfide bond in the mucin polypeptide chain in mucinous sputum, decompose the mucin, reduce the viscosity of the sputum, and make it liquefied and easy to cough up.
